A bit of heat, from Red Curry Paste and a bit of sweet, from brown sugar makes these kielbasa bites absolutely tantalizing.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs kielbasa
  • 1-1.75 oz box Red Curry Paste
  • 1-2 tablespoons soy sauce (or according to your salt preference)
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • Optional: chopped cilantro

Directions

  1. Place whole kielbasa in a large skillet or pot, and cover with water. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. For a softer outside, boil until skin pops. Drain.
  2. While Kielbasa is cooking, add Red Curry Paste, soy sauce, brown sugar and 1 tablespoon water to a small sauce pan. Stirring, cook over a medium heat until curry is dissolved and sugar is melted. Set aside.
  3. Slice kielbasa into 1/4 inch slices (or thinner). Add oil and slices to a large skillet. Cook on medium-high heat until slices have some brown to them. Add about 1/3* cup of curry mixture to skillet. Toss slices until all pieces are coated with curry mixture. Serve with chopped cilantro if desired.
