A Taste of Thai Pad Thai Sauce makes both the marinade and the finishing sauce for this delicious dinner salad.

Ingredients

  • 1-3.25 oz box Pad Thai Sauce
  • 2/3 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Fish Sauce
  • 1 1/2 pounds flank steak
  • 8 cups mixed salad greens

Directions

  1. Add Pad Thai Sauce, sugar, vinegar, Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce and Fish Sauce to a bowl. Mix well. Makes 1 3/4 cups dressing.
  2. Evenly poke steak with fork before marinating. Add steak and 1 cup of the dressing to a plastic zip-lock type bag. Marinate in refrigerator 1-2 hours.
  3. Just before grilling, pour marinade from bag into small saucepan and boil for 5 minutes. Set aside.
  4. Preheat grill to medium high. Oil* grill grates and place steak on grill. Cook first side 5-6 minutes and second side 4-5 minutes. Internal temperature of 140°F is medium rare. Place steak on cutting board and let rest 5 minutes.
  5. Toss salad greens with remaining dressing and divide among 4 plates. Thinly slice steak across grain and lay on top of greens. Drizzle with cooked marinade. Serve immediately.
