A Taste of Thai Pad Thai Sauce is not just for rice noodles. Ready in 20 minutes or less, this foolproof recipe will have your family begging for more!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 bunch scallions, sliced into thin rounds
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced small
  • 1 teaspoon A Taste of Thai Fish Sauce
  • 3 cups cooked, day-old A Taste of Thai Jasmine Rice*
  • 2 cups chopped leftover chicken, turkey or beef
  • 1-3.25 oz box A Taste of Thai Pad Thai Sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro or basil
  • Optional: lime wedges
  • * Day old rice works better for stir-frys. One cup dry Jasmine Rice makes 3 cups cooked rice.

Directions

  1. In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over a medium-high heat.
  2. Add scallions, bell pepper and Fish Sauce. Stir-fry until scallions begin to wilt.
  3. Add rice, chicken and Pad Thai Sauce. Stir-fry until heated through.
  4. Mix in peanuts and cilantro. Serve with lime wedges, if desired.
