Asparagus, once known as Sparrow Grass, has been a popular vegetable since early Greece. The sweet, peanutty heat of Spicy Peanut Bake nicely complements the earthy flavor of asparagus. Move over hollandaise, you have competition.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oil, plus some for baking pan
- 1 1/2 lbs trimmed* asparagus
- Salt
- 1-3.5 oz packet Spicy Thai Peanut Bake, both inner envelopes
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Oil a large baking sheet.
- Place asparagus on baking sheet and drizzle with oil. Roll asparagus back and forth until coated. Salt to taste.
- Evenly spread asparagus on sheet and sprinkle with one inner envelope Spicy Peanut Bake. Roll asparagus until coated.
- Top with remaining envelope of peanut bake. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until tender.
