This pretty dish is infused with citrus, heat, herbs and the salty flavors so typical of Thai food.  Our Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce adds a balanced spiciness.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup lime juice, fresh squeezed
  • 3 tablespoons Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce*
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons Fish Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced thinly
  • 3 bell peppers, 1 red, 1 yellow, 1 green, sliced thinly
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped fresh basil leaves

Directions

  1. Add lime juice, Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce, soy sauce, cornstarch, and sugar to a small bowl. Whisk until smooth and set aside.
  2. Heat oil, Fish Sauce and garlic in a large skillet over a medium-high heat until garlic begins to brown. Add chicken and stir-fry until barely cooked.
  3. Add peppers and reserved sauce. Stir-fry until sauce is thickened and chicken is cooked. Remove from heat and stir in basil. Serve.
