Spicy Panang Curry mixed with fragrant basil makes one delicious burger.  Top with sweet and spicy Sweet Chili Sauce for an extra Thai treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon Panang Curry Paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 hamburger buns or rolls
  • Optional: Sweet Chili Sauce, lettuce and tomatoes

Directions

  1. Combine ground beef, onion, basil, Panang Curry Paste and salt.
  2. Mix together well and shape into four patties.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high. Brush grill grates with oil and cook burgers 5-6 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Serve burgers on buns or rolls topped with Sweet Chili Sauce for an extra Thai experience.
