Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce and Peanut Sauce Mix make a hot and spicy Thai barbecue sauce. It’s perfect for shrimp, pork or chicken.
Ingredients
- 1-3.5 oz box Peanut Sauce Mix
- 1/2 cup Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce
- 1 lb extra large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Bamboo skewers, soaked in water for at least 30 minutes
- Optional: cooked Jasmine Rice and chopped cilantro
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine Peanut Sauce Mix (both inner envelopes) and Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce.
- Skewer shrimp and place in a flat baking dish.
- Brush shrimp with barbecue sauce on both sides.
- Grill or broil until done, about 2-3 minutes on each side, basting with remaining sauce.
- Serve with rice and sprinkle with cilantro if desired.
