Sautéed Jasmine Rice

This simple side goes well with any spicy dish. The subtle Jasmine Rice flavor adds just the right touch.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 3 cups cooked and cooled A Taste of Thai Jasmine Rice*
  • 1-2 teaspoons A Taste of Thai Fish Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Fresh cracked black pepper
  • 2 cups peas, frozen or fresh
  • *One cup uncooked Jasmine Rice makes three cups cooked rice.

Directions

  1. In large skillet heat oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add Rice, Fish Sauce, garlic powder and black pepper to taste. Sauté until ingredients are hot. Stir in peas and sauté until heated through. Serve.
