A Taste of Thai Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce helps make this a robust marinade that’s perfect for any meat, but especially for beef.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs sirloin tips
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1/4 cup Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce
- 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lime juice
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Fish Sauce
Directions
- Place steak in a large zip-lock style bag.
- Whisk red wine, Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, Worcestershire Sauce and Fish Sauce together until sugar is dissolved.
- Pour marinade over steak and squeeze air out of bag. Marinate 3 hours in refrigerator, turning frequently. Remove steak from refrigerator 1/2 hour before grilling.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Pour marinade from bag into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for 5-7 minutes.
- Grill steak about 3 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 140°F for rare. Serve with boiled marinade.
