Sirloin Tips with Red Wine Garlic Chili Sauce Marinade

A Taste of Thai Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce helps make this a robust marinade that’s perfect for any meat, but especially for beef.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs sirloin tips
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1/4 cup Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Fish Sauce

Directions

  1. Place steak in a large zip-lock style bag.
  2. Whisk red wine, Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, Worcestershire Sauce and Fish Sauce together until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Pour marinade over steak and squeeze air out of bag. Marinate 3 hours in refrigerator, turning frequently. Remove steak from refrigerator 1/2 hour before grilling.
  4. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Pour marinade from bag into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Grill steak about 3 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 140°F for rare. Serve with boiled marinade.
