Sweet pork is a classic ingredient used in many Asian stir-fry, soup or noodle dishes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork loin
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup A Taste of Thai Fish Sauce

Directions

  1. Remove fat from pork and cut into thin slices.
  2. In a medium saucepan, bring pork, sugar, Fish Sauce and 3 cups water to a boil. Skim sauce of any foam. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 40 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat. Cool pork (in sauce) in refrigerator.
  4. When chilled, remove pork from sauce and use in preferred entrée.
