This spicy barbecue sauce gets it heat from fresh ginger, Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce and Red Curry Paste. It’s especially good on any meat and poultry.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup minced onion
- 3 tablespoons chopped garlic
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh ginger
- 1-12 oz jar chili sauce
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup A Taste of Thai Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1-1.75 oz box A Taste of Thai Red Curry Paste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions
- In medium saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and sauté until soft.
- Add garlic and ginger. Sauté until soft, making sure not to brown garlic.
- Add chili sauce, broth, honey, Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce, vinegar, lime juice, Red Curry Paste and Worcestershire sauce.
- Simmer until thick (about 20 minutes) and curry is dissolved, stirring occasionally.
