Tasty Thai Spinach Dip

Peanut Sauce Mix gives this old standby a new and exciting flavor of Thailand. The filling can easily be made one day ahead and the bread bowl filled at the last minute for company.
Ingredients
- 1-3.5 oz box Peanut Sauce Mix, both inner envelopes
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
- 2 tablespoons Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 1-10 oz package frozen, chopped green spinach (thawed and squeezed dry)
- 1 large round loaf crusty bread
- Optional: lettuce leaves
Directions
- In a medium bowl combine Peanut Sauce Mix, sour cream, mayonnaise, onion, Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce, cilantro and spinach until well mixed. Refrigerate.
- With a serrated knife cut top off of bread. Cut around bread leaving about a one half inch outside wall. Hollow out bread by removing center with hands. Cut center and top into bite size pieces for dipping.
- Place bread bowl on a platter and surround with pieces of bread. Line bowl with lettuce if desired and fill bowl with Thai spinach dip.
