Homemade popcorn is not only easy to make but so much better in flavor. Peanut Sauce Mix or Spicy Peanut Bake will turn this yummy treat into a family favorite!
Ingredients
- 1-3.5 oz box Peanut Sauce Mix* (both inner envelopes)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup coconut or peanut oil
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- *Spicy Peanut Bake may be substituted for Peanut Sauce Mix
Directions
- Pour Peanut Sauce Mix or Spicy Peanut Bake and Parmesan cheese into a medium bowl. Whisk together and set aside.
- Heat oil in a large heavy bottomed saucepan (or soup pot) over a medium-high heat. Add 3 kernels of corn. When kernels pop, add the remaining kernels and cover. Shake pan back and forth until popping slows down to almost a stop. Remove from heat.
- Pour popcorn into a large serving bowl and drizzle with butter, tossing well to combine. Add Peanut and Parmesan mixture and toss until all popcorn is coated. Serve.
