This is a zero fat recipe and is delicious as a condiment on burgers or sandwiches. It gets its heat from jalapeño peppers and A Taste of Thai Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 large tomato, seeded and diced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1-2 jalapeño peppers, minced*
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons A Taste of Thai Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce
- 1 tablespoon A Taste of Thai Fish Sauce
- Salt
- *Note: For less heat, remove seeds from the jalapeño peppers.
Directions
- In medium bowl, combine tomato, red bell pepper, basil, jalapeño peppers, garlic, rice vinegar, Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce, Fish Sauce and salt to taste.
- Mix well and refrigerate until serving.
